Let’s start with this question: If you carry a cat around on your shoulder when you go out, or a bird, or a lizard, what music do you listen to? Or, if you’re not any of those people, ask someone who is.

Das ist doch mal eine schöne Nachricht für den Beginn der Woche: Carrie Brownstein von Sleater Kinney, die ja leider im „indefinite hiatus“ sind, schreibt den Monitor Mix–Blog auf der Seite von National Public Radio. Da läuft auch mein Lieblingspodcast This American Life. Carrie schreibt über Musik und verfolgt dabei einen Ansatz, den ich viel spannender finde als die üblichen Rezensionen und Band-Portraits:
